    Are you thinking of skepticism so extreme that a person can't ascertain anything? That'd be useless.

    When a Skeptic draws a conclusion, He / She is no longer a Skeptic on that issue that made them skeptic in the first place, right. So, one could be a skeptic for some time, then after much pondering, can come to a conclusion on something and yet still remain skeptical on something else, right.

    Blueblades......a skeptic is someone who doubts generally accepted ideas. For instance ....a person can believe they have good reason to doubt the validity of the bible. THis person may have firm convictions that it's a manmade book. This person is a bible skeptic, although this person has drawn his own conclusions about the bible. So yes, a person can be a skeptic and still hold their own beliefs.
