    Truth2Me,

No. The first sentence in the original quote regarded resurrection. The rest was all about surviving the big A.

You hit on the crux of the WTS deceit in that quote.

Do they believe that they are the only ones who will be saved?

No. Millions that have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life.

TRANSLATION: If you are dead when the big A happens, then you will be reserected and given a chance to convert... if you do not you will be killed again and forever.

Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before the "great tribulation," and they will gain salvation.

TRANSLATION: If you are a JW then you will survive the big A, otherwise you will be killed.

Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. We look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully. He has committed judgment into Jesus' hands, not ours.?Matthew 7:1-5; 24:21; 25:31.

TRANSLATION: JWs are not supposed to judge each other... this does NOT apply to people who are not JWs

Watchtower, May 1st 200210. Are we personally alert, so that no unrighteousness is found on our lips? For example, can our family members really trust what we say? Can our spiritual brothers and sisters in the congregation do the same? It would be easy to develop the habit of couching one?s words in terms that are technically accurate but misleading.

It looks like the person who wrote that FAQ needs to read this article... but of course the article says that this only applies to "spiritual brothers and sisters". Looks like good old "Theocratic Warfar" at its best.

The original quote in the first post was regarding who would be resurrected, not who would be saved at Arm'gn.

Interesting point. But Notice the quote again:

Do they believe that they are the only ones who will be saved?

No. Millions that have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before the "great tribulation," and they will gain salvation. Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. We look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully. He has committed judgment into Jesus' hands, not ours.?

The question is: Do they believe that they are the only ones who will be saved? The immediate answer: "No."

The second sentance speaks of resurrection. The third goes back to salvation.

Then it gets even more ambiguous and leaves it all up to Jesus.

All of which is in exact opposition of what is printed in the publications and preached at the meetings and assemblies.

The website at the start of this thread is obviously just that - Thanx EW for the above

Once I knew a CO who was asked at the door if we believed in the 'rapture'. He said we did. He called that kind of 'couching' of words, when I asked him how he could say we did, a difference in 'semantics' - One CO would go to doors of known dyed in the wool Baptists and introduce himself with "I have come to speak with you about the BLOOD of Jesus!" Of course he got inside -but never for long.

They have cloaking and couching of words to a fine art - just like DFing is an 'expresssion of love'

    Just My Opinion

*** Watchtower 1983 February 15 p.12 You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth-But How? ***

A third requirement is that we be associated with God's channel, his organization. ? Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it.

As for people not judging others, Elsewhere must be right. It only applies to JWs. Just look at the study article for this past sunday: (Blondie's posting: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/82374/1.ashx)

There is no question that Christendom deserves adverse divine judgment. Her deplorable religious and moral conditions speak for themselves.

Sounds a little judgemental of every Non-JW churchgoer out there, doesn't it?

In the Kingdom hall they preach about being the only ones saved.Out on the street they have no problem lying to your face about being the only ones saved..Oh,we`ve never said anything like that.....Bullshit,like most here, I`ve heard it and was taught it from a very young age...OUTLAW

No. Millions that have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before the "great tribulation," and they will gain salvation.

Translation: before the name Jehovah's Witness was adopted.

Translation: Those who will be entrapped in the future.

Both criteria mean ONLY JWs. and either way Theocratic warfare allows the lie because non-jws are not entitled to know the truth if it means they might not join the bi-weekly mandatory self-use magazine group which is the only thing that matters.
