I dont have a problem with you being here
nice to meet you,
getting more and more jws here is cool
we might not always agree on everything but thats life
if things keep up like this perhaps
the df'ing will go out of the window, after all if it cant be enforced
it becomes a useless exercise.
do you talk to dfd people at the hall too?

nelly: No I do not talk to dfd people at the hall. I respect Jehovah's law and am a firm believer in the instructions the Apostle Paul outlined in 1 Corinthians chapter 5 and the counsel of the Apostle John in his second letter. The kingdom Hall is Jehovah's house and I would not disrespect him in there. Since I do not know who is disfelloshipped or who is not in this board, my conscience allows me to post here. If someone identifies himself as disfellowshipped I will not answer to his comments.

I don't appreciate people in this board accusing me of going against WT policy as an excuse to shut me up.
Hmmm, I'm rereading my post... just as I thought: I didn't mention a single word about "shutting you up." I merely commented on the fact that you obviously feel that you are above the instructions of the FDS. You know that you shouldn't be here, but you are anyway. Too many JWs hide behind the Org when it's convenient, and then "exercise their consciences" when they want to do their own thing. That's hypocrisy at it's height. It's one of the reasons I left the Org in the dust.
Please don't get me wrong; this is a great forum b/c everyone *can* post here. I appreciate everyone's posts; from the moronic (sorry, Fred) to the inspired (too many to list) because each and every one reminds me that I am an adult, able to make my own decisions, not dependent on Brooklyn, NY to have a relationship with God.

Believe it or not the motives are love, at least in my case. I know that sometimes JW's on this board do not show that, but it goes the same with some ex-jw's too.
I know way to many people who are complete assholes in the name of love. Based on your few posts here, I suspect you are one of them, but I'm ready to be wrong.
Am I going against WT counsel? Yes, but I am willing to pay the price to help my fellow man, specially if I see that they blinded by resentment and are going contrary to Jehovah's will.
And what, pray tell, is the "price" for disobeying the Organization? You're gonna DIE. God's gonna kill you dead, buster, then lay out a nice buffet of your organs for the birdies. Sounds great, doesn't it?
Why does the WT give the counsel to stay away from site such as this? They only care for their brothers and see it as a danger to their spirituality.
Wrong. The Organization is afraid that its members will find out about its history of lies, false prophecies, fraud, hypocrisy, perjury, cruelty, etc.
An you know, they are right, sometimes I feel very mad and confused when I am in this board, specially with most of the stupid comments (there are exceptions, many of you are calm and I see sincerity in your thoughts).
That confusion is the result of cognitive dissonance. This is good news -- your humanity may be salvageable after all!
What helps me is after I get those feelings, I read my Bible and that helps me put everything in perspective.
Okay, if you say so. How about sharing an uplifting verse or two?
It's not wrong for the WT to warn their brothers of such places on the net, as parents most of you warn your kids about dangers you see.
Your analogy is a bit skewed, since the "parents" themselves pose the "dangers." Abusive parents, for example, might warn their kids never to call for help, or tell anyone they are being abused.
Please do not think that I am here just to argue with you, or to be an asshole, but just to share in dialogue. I don't like to complain about things, but I want to be part of a solution. Complaints depress people, but solutions gives us strength. Also, do not put bad motives behind my words. I have love even for those of you that hate all JW's, although you do not know
Whatever. If you want to have good discussion, stop posting insipid drivel like, "Jehovah is a God of love ... blah blah blah." We've all heard that a million times, and it just doesn't do anything for anyone, not here, anyway.

He now claims to be "Ernesto" from Portugal.
Yeah, he's so unafraid of the WBTS, that he won't even unlock his email or reveal his real whereabouts.
Why don't you write to the WBTS in Portugal and tell them how successful you have been in getting us to realize the errors of our ways? Maybe then, there will be a new article in the Kingdom Ministry authorizing EVERYONE and not just you, to be on the internet chatting with 'apostates.'
Ha ha, your lie is full of holes. You won't answer someone who says they are disfellowshipped, but you will associate with KNOWN apostates.

PS--are they charging for parking at the Portugal District Conventions?

I personally do not know anyone here who “hates all JWs.” I suppose there may be someone here who fits that description, but the vast majorities here probably love the victims of hateful WTS policies. They sometimes risk their own wellbeing to come here and engage in efforts to help their family members and friends get out of the “Borg.”
Many here hate the murderous blood prohibition and the hateful shunning policies of the WTS. Child molestation cover-ups are another policy area that we hate. But, we don’t hate the victims.
It may be hard for some of us to avoid hating those who perpetuate the policies that murder physically and kill spiritually, certain former WTS presidents, GB members and hard-nosed COs and Dos come to mind.
Most of us only feel sorry for the six million JWs that are victims of Brooklyn. Our feelings are far removed from hatred.

Partial Obedience
*** w99 8/15 8 Keep Anger From Stumbling You ***
Saul’s failure to obey Jehovah’s express commands and his subsequent attempts at self-justification led to his losing God’s favor and spirit.*** w98 7/15 30 Do You Have "an Obedient Heart"? ***
Partial Obedience Not Enough
Not all who have claimed to be obedient to God have actually obeyed him.
Though Saul destroyed them as a nation, he spared their king and preserved some of their sheep and cattle. Samuel asked: “Why is it you did not obey the voice of Jehovah?” In reply, Saul said: “But I have obeyed the voice of Jehovah . . . The people [of Israel] went taking from the spoil sheep and cattle, the choicest of them . . . , to sacrifice to Jehovah.” Stressing the need for complete obedience, Samuel replied: “Does Jehovah have as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Look! To obey is better than a sacrifice, to pay attention than the fat of rams; for rebelliousness is the same as the sin of divination, and pushing ahead presumptuously the same as using uncanny power and teraphim. Since you have rejected the word of Jehovah, he accordingly rejects you from being king.” (1 Samuel 15:17-23) How much Saul lost because he did not have an obedient heart!Even wise King Solomon, who had prayed for an obedient heart, did not continue to obey Jehovah. Contrary to the divine will, he married foreign women who caused him to sin against God. (Nehemiah 13:23, 26) Solomon lost divine favor because he did not continue to have an obedient heart. What a warning this is for us!
*** w94 1/15 16 Shepherds and Sheep in a Theocracy ***
Saul, the first king of Israel, did obey Jehovah—but only partially. For this he was rejected. Samuel told him: “To obey is better than a sacrifice, to pay attention than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22) Is it theocratic to follow Jehovah’s will to a certain extent, perhaps by being regular in the preaching work or in meeting attendance, and then to compromise in matters of morality or in some other way? Of course not! We strive to ‘do the will of God whole-souled.’ (Ephesians 6:6; 1 Peter 4:1, 2) Unlike Saul, we submit totally to God’s rule.*** w90 6/1 28 Gilead Graduates Urged to Cultivate Good Communication Skills ***
But then the speaker reminded the students that sacrifice is of no value if it is not coupled with obedience. Using the account of King Saul and the Amalekites, he exhorted: “Always remember that obedience is better than sacrifice. Never try to bargain with Jehovah. Always do what he tells you to do.” -

The fact is GodRules is not a faithfull servant of his Jehovah. GodRules does not believe what the Borg says about being on internet sites like this one.
The problem is that he really does have doubts and that this board and other boards that he probally visits are confirming his doubts and he is very angry at himself and the borg so he wants to take it out on us.
And by the way I still believe he is FredHall.

GodRules,
You strike me as a sincere individual, and I hope you enjoy your stay with us.
It would seem to me that a visit on your part to a place like this would be very unsettling. Discussion here reveals the severity and extent of major problems within the Society. It also shows detailed contraditions and changes in the teaching over time. The history of the Organization is very flawed over time. Now, you can chalk that up to human imperfection. However, for me, it is too much imperfection for me an organization that claims to be the sole communication from God to mankind. I don't think most of JWs are bad people. Most of them are good people caught in a bad system.
I hope you stick around and thoughtfuly consider the facts that people bring up and ignore the anger of some.
