Oh no, I have been a fan for over 30 years when I first saw him on Broadway. He was slated to be on a new L&O in June.

For those of you who knew the face but not the name...
And the wonderful voice of Lumiere in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" as Fleur pointed out above...I love that movie.

The link on msnbc says he did make some of the new shows. I always liked his acting.

So sad. I just loved him. I saw his biography on A&E this year and loved him even more after learning about his life. A really good guy. I'll miss him.

he was so cool... he always took the tension off in those episodes of "law & order" with his wry comments. i missed him when he left the show, and am sad to learn he has gone...
(i didn't know he was the voice of Lumiere!)
