There should be no concern about rush hour traffic since this is a Saturday but be aware that Chicago is a big city. Plan for problems and finding parking. I noted above the parking that is available. Use www.mapquest.com to map out a route from your location to Reza's. If you want to meet up with others and ride together to the restaurant, please do.

I have been to a few meetups at restaurants and 13 to 15 is large enough to suggest this. Do you want to mix up the seating after the main course and sit near new people for dessert/etc? Sometimes hi and goodbye is all that is accomplished if people are on opposite ends of the table.

Reza's food is great and served only by men (unless they changed it). The soup is great and the feta cheese and veggies before are wonderful.

I'm getting anxious.

Ok so some of us out of towners will be rolling in to the big city Friday. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go, or plans to hang out?

As a general rule of thumb ~"stay outta the South Side" unless you have small arms and a armored car.

The Museums and cool stuff near Lincoln Park and Navy Pier are neat... Feild Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium etc.

If it was warmer, a trip to Wrigley would be grand........watch the Cubbies!

And.....if you like to window shop....State Street has it all........ Down town Chicago is really cool.

For those who ask, I have not arranged for a central hotel since people's circumstances vary and I don't want to be like the WTS demanding you say at a certain place. We are staying out by OHare because it is a little cheaper.

Nice to hear you might be coming Snapdragon. There is a Madison area contingency going down on Saturday, so let me know.

I'm at work now so I'm trying to get someone to work my weekend. A few people owe. Man I really hope I can go. It sounds like a fun crew. Count me into the potentials. Oh, one more IMPORTANT thing.

The Tribune's weather section today predicts that it is going to be in the SINGLE DIGITS this weekend. In other words, we are going to be freezing our asses off! So dress warm. And, more importantly, be sure your CAR is in order and winterized; ie anitfreeze, windshield washer fluid, jumper cables, etc.

Better to be prepared.
