bOrg: This is a reference to the Borg in the Star Trek - The Next Generation series. One of the earth's worst enemies was a cyborg collective that went around trying to "assimilate" everyone they found. Once one was assimilated one no longer had any freewill and did everything the collective demanded
Thanks Else, I used to think about that too until someone explained it to me via PM
I was breastfeeding my child in the mothers room and this same brother would always come in to do the count and he would just stare at me.I told the elders but they didn't care they said he was just enjoying the beauty of mother and child.
ew. that's just revolting. what a little creep. even if he was just "enjoying the beauty of mother and child" , the fact that you were uncomfortable with the intrusion should have been enough for them to tell him to keep his smarmy a$$ outta there.
Having so much to do, personal study, meetings, field service, etc. If you did everything they said you had to do, there would be no time for much else.
The worst though, I think, is their attitude towards family, and unbelievers. Lets tear the family apart, over the rules and obligations of the organization.
It really made me angry and my husband also went to the elders.
I have a big non-submissive mouth and when he would come in after that I would yell out during the service - PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR I AM BREASTFEEDING MY SON - STOP LOOKING AT MY BREASTS.
They don't care about women and their feelings.
The Elders at our hall were just a bunch of perverts and nasties.
I say this because when my husband came back they questioned him about what we do in the bedroom and how we did it.
I think he feels if he had given them all the details he wouldn't be on reproof.
So glad he is fading away.

Ex-morons like to call the LDS church the "morg". LOL.
