What food places would you reccomend? If im in a new town, I like going to eat at places that locals go to that most like likely are not in all the tourists guides, if possible.

If you were to come to my town, I'd probably take you to eat at Dick's Drive In (Best Burgers IMO) and if you were in the mood for something fancy, maybe El Gauchos (best steakhouse IMO) and terrific atmosphere..

How bout you? What local places do you frequent and would reccomend?

Big City Burrito is a good choice for downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. Inca is a really good Mexican restaurant in Fort Collins.

Come to Dallas and I would take you to Ojedas for Mexican food, Glorias for Salvadoran fare, Dunston's for a steak and Stroker's Biker Bar for beer and greasy hamburgs..Plus there you get to check out all the bikers, biker beyotches, and the bikes..

Oh yeah If you like Catfish, I'd take you to Catfish Corner on Cherry Street in Central Seattle, and if you like Barbeque, i'd take you to Home of Good Barbeque on Yesler Ave.

    Hi Doodle-V,

If you were to come to my town I'd invite you to eat at our fave restaurant, our home.

We almost always eat home cooked even when friends are visiting, but it's the best in town!

Good question V. I usually end up feeding visitors at my house.

For Mexican, there is a great taqueria in Lynnwood called Tacos Guymas. Always full of the local hispanic population and they hardly speak English...both signs of good Mexican food.

We also like Sahib in Edmonds by the ferry. However, the last time Steve and I went there the food wasn't as good and the management had changed so I probably would pick something else. Good Thai food at Thai Cottage, just up the road from Sahib. A little teriyaki shop down the street makes the best Kung Pao chicken.

We should go out sometime V.

I like the local taqueria's too. I think there is one on every block on Hwy 99 not to mention the taco trucks!
