    Hi!

I sent him an email just before his surgery, expressing thanks for writing his 2 books that I enjoyed. I never got a response, and didn't expect one because he was so sick. I would like to know how he is doing? I hope he is feeling much better.

You can again tell him how much his straight forward, non judgemental, sincere writings enabled many to know the real "truth" and we are thankful he took the time to do it!!!

    Thank you,

Please convey to him the fact that there are so many like him out here. We may be branded apostates but in reality we are the ones who could no longer live the lie and had to listen to our consciences rather than the hardliners.

Iam about 1/4 of the way throught ISOCF. How refreshing and privledged I am to have come in contact with Ray through his experiences. I am really starting to feel better about myself the more I research the facts. Thanks Ray.

Ask him about his exit / removal, and would he have done anything different?

I'm also curious as to how he felt, when the WTS "rewrote" the publications that he authored while he was in Bethel.

logansrun: Yes, I disagree with Ray's religious views, inasmuchas I don't believe in God or the Bible. But I have tremendous respect for what he did in getting out of the organization and writing such a helpful book.

Released: Actually, I do have one question for Ray. I realize that his books are his only real means of income right now. I wonder if he has any plans for releasing them to the public domain at some point. For example, some Witnesses might be more willing to read CoC if it were available in its entirety online. Just a thought.

    Hi Released:

I have been corresponding via e-mail off and on over the past year with Ray. I hope that he and his wife are doing well - she was having some health problems. I look forward to your post after you meet him - can't wait to hear about it.

Ray seems to be so responsive to those who want to meet or talk with him and I belive its because we all have so much in common.

    Keep those questions coming

I have great admiration and respect for the man, but that doesn't mean that I deify him. It's my understanding that Ray's wife, Cynthia, was never disfellowshipped although I believe she is in harmony with Ray. I would like to know a little more about her and what her reaction was to the debacle back in 1981 and what her family's reaction might have been. My biggest concern is that Ray and Cynthia are OK financially and have thought of making a donation, though can't afford a lot.

    Hi Released,

Like you, I took an opportunity to visit with Ray many years ago. We have become friends and talk on ocassion. When you see he and Cynthia, tell them Jim Whitney said hello. Jim W.
