There's lots of fancy dress hire shops that cater for German uniforms over here. I guess you aren't meant to look too deeply though.

(as I understand) The swastika is so reviled in europe it has basically been a forbidden symbol.
Kevan does WWII airplane modeling and is a WWII history buff. He cannot get a Finnish model, whose flag pre-war had a swastika-like figure on it, with the figure whole on the decals. It comes in two pieces on the decals. They block out the figure on the box art.
I feel for Harry's possition. However, I do agree he should have had better manners with his clothing.
I didn't mean that I liked his costume choice, but I like his attitude, he doesn't seem to be a follower or a people pleaser all the time. He is his own person. That is what I like.
And as for costume parties, can't you dress up like ANYTHING you want? Or do you always have to be politically correct? If someone invited me to a Halloween party and said all costumes had to be PC, I'd so no thank you.

It might have been only slightly more favourable for him if he'd gone dressed as a French Maid. I think he should be ignored for his act because youngest children are always attention seeking and wanting every one to look at them all of them time. Because of his postition he is able to command a larger audiance. Myself, I'm just looking the other way. Dumb Ass!

So brilliant people go to university and not so smart people go to the military? I don't think you meant it that way, but it came across like that, to me at least.
Speaking of brilliant and military, Field Marshall Irwin Rommel was a Nazi but a brilliant military leader. Would it be so wrong to go to a costume party as Rommel? Is that any worse than an American going to a costume party as Robert E. Lee or Benedict Arnold?
