I doubt you will find a rational intellectual debate with any practicing Jehovahs Witnesses either. You see; they believe that they are right; and are committed to that end. Nothing you say or do will convince them of your point of view. They are right and YOU ARE WRONG. That is the philosophy which built that religion. It is one sided and negative.
I agree with Franklin J...My parents in particular are ones that are strong in their faith. I asked my Dad if he was so sure that he's right, could he swear on the bible that he was in the right religion. He said yes, without hesitation. Now my mom said "well, I could swear that I think it is the right religion". But, you see, like Dad, there are many JW's that think and in their mind KNOW they are right...period. End discussion. Crazy, I know, but that's the way it is.
