    Loony Tunes

Roadrunner was my fave, along with Speedy Gonzales.

Funny, Speedy is no longer PC in the US. Can't find him anywhere that I am aware of. However, he is on the El Acme Cartoon Hora on Mexican TV! We caught it last year in MZT. I had forgotten just how funny and horribly stereotypical it was. Laughed my ass off.

and of course, the smart-ass king:

    Bugs Bunny !

Mr. President, Jem and the holograms was one of my favorites, though I wouldn't be caught watching it in public, I'd quickly change to the morning news programs when anyone would breeze thru. Jerrica was my favorite character, and how could I have left out Speed Racer.

What the heck was the deal with Clutch Cargo by the way.

I had a lot, including what FranklinJ said, Johnny Quest, and my fav was Space Ghost.

Unfortunately, the only times I got to see these shows was when my dad was at the door, and I would peer between his legs on the lower step and peer into the living room where the "regular" kids were sitting on the floor with their freinds, eating Apple Jacks.

Of course if we made it home by 12:00 I would get to watch "The Monkees", if I had placed "1 set of magazines"

I actually had a theory that your favorite Looney Toon could give away your personality.... Mine was Pepe Le Pew meaning I'm a hopless romantic that never gets the girl Bugs Bunny was a perfectionist that everything seemed to go his way Tweety Bird was a tease, would mock people who wanted them but could never have them Daffy Duck was a defeatist who thought the whole world was out to ruin his life, and did. Odd side note for things; ah and my favorite cartoon growing up had to be ThunderCats.

    Loved:

    • The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Show. The finest cartoon ever.
    • The Smurfs. I was seriously into the Smurfs for a few years. I never encountered anti-Smurf sentiment from anyone I knew.
    • Scooby-Doo. Circa 1968-1970 episodes only, the ones with the bats in the beginning intro with the hippy-style singing. The other ones kinda sucked.
    • Fat Albert. I looooved this show! And it was on later in the morning so I could watch it after getting home from "field service".
    • Captain Caveman. It was dumb but I loved it. Oonga boonga.
    • Hong Kong Phooey. I don't know why I thought the dog was cool, but what did I know...I was 6 years old...

    Liked:

    • Speed Buggy. Barely remember it, but I liked it.
    • Superfriends. Batman and Robin were a little outclassed, I don't know what "power" the Green Lantern had, but I liked seeing all those superheros and especially the Super Wonder Twins. But those stupid didactic lessons at the end (e.g. Superman taking out the garbage) really sucked.
    • Underdog. Rocky and Bullwinkle were okay but Underdog and that time-traveling dog were cool.

    Hated:

    • Tom and Jerry. That show PISSED me off so much. God, I hated the injustice!
    • Popeye. Boring. Plus my mom never let me watch it.
    • Scrappy Doo. Lame-o.
    • Plasticman. Dull and silly.
    • Ritchie Rich. I was disgusted by the display of wealth. It offended me.
  • Midget-Sasquatch
    Midget-Sasquatch

I only got to watch Saturday morning cartoons if I was sick.

But when I did I loved to watch:

    • Spiderman and Friends (had Iceman and Firestar)
    • Thundar the Barbarian (ahhh the sun sword/light saber, Ukla(sp.?)/Chewey rip-off)
    • Scooby Doo

During the weekdays I liked watching:

    • any Looney tune cartoon especially ones with Marvin the Martian
    • Thundercats
    • Transformers (but not after the original Megatron and Optimus were gone)
    • Tom and Jerry

And even as an adult I liked watching:

    • Animaniacs
    • Tiny Toons
