Yip....these goats actually faint when startled and look like they have rigor- mortise when they fallm over. After a few seconds....they get up all dazed lookin. THe farmers used to use them to protect their sheep. They would put these goats in with the sheep and when the bad wolf came around, the goats would faint and get eaten and the sheep would get away. A bad deal for the goats, but a good deal for the sheep.
So who said that seperating the sheep and the goats would be such a difficult task? Just shout "Boo!!" very loudly and the goats will faint and the sheep will run away. Simple.
That species should last a good, long time. Mother Nature really gave 'em a bum deal.
I'm thinkin that at least some of the Israelite sheepherders had some of these little fella's mixed in with their sheep and prolly took nasty advantage of them when they fainted.Bastards!

Whenever we hear someone coming, we can just yell at the goat, then stowe the paralysed little bugger under the bed for safe keeping!
