I remember back 8 years ago when I left the organization the elders were being called "Jehovah's special appointed ones". At least I think that's what it was. I thought to myself that this was starting to become a clergy class. I mean if that doesn't set you about the rest of the flock, I don't know what does. Then that got me thinking about all the positions like DO, CO, Edler, MS, Pioneer, Aux. Pioneer. All having a certain prestige to them. The more I think about it now, the more I'm convince that they definetly have a clergy class. What other evidence can you think of that proves they do indeed have a clergy class?
JW's say they don't have a clergy class, whay do you think?..

I think you pretty much covered it... There was another thread not to long ago about the "front of the hall clique" I think thats evidence as well they have special seats not just for the clergy but for the family of the clergy as well... Pretty f*cked up!

I actually asked this question years ago of a fine elder and he readily admitted that the WTS does indeed have a "clergy" class, they just don't tout it as such ex;
Bethelites: food, clothing , shelter, provided
CO's, DO's: really good food, clothing, shelter, wheels, $$$ (under the table of course). My one good buddy went to MTS then became a CO and he told me that the $$ given to him alone was more than he made EVER while he worked. His wife got pregnant and he had enough $$ to buy a house.
Special Pio's: $$$
Missionaries: All of the above.
Of course the Dubs will claim that they don't get that much... that is irrelevant- THEY ARE STILL A PAID CLERGY.
Don't you love how they will split hairs on things dear to their heart (wedding rings, annniv. etc) but ignore the out n out hypocricy?

Didn't even scratch it folks!
Check what CTR himself said.

Focus covered it:
Another prominent mark of the beast .. is the honoring of the special class, the clergy, with special honors and titles. They are known as Revs., Divines, etc., but Jesus, the divine, said: 'Ye call me Lord and Master, and ye say well, for so I am.' 'Be not ye called Rabbi, neither be ye called Masters, for one is your Master, even Christ, and all ye are brethren (Matt. 23:8). These titles are assumptions fashioned after those of Papacy."

Zionistic ClassWhat chaos! A total of 325 Classes (and more may be discovered - my sifting work is not quite completed; I am tarrying awhile), drawn only from the published writings of just the Watchtower's first president (including a handful drawn from his one "posthumous" work) - all OFFICIAL WATCHTOWER SOCIETY PUBLICATIONS.
Bear in mind that: "God is not the author of confusion" - 1 Cor. 14:33 And further - all these classes from the same person - the very founder of the Watchtower Society - who attacked the Catholic church for having classes! Here is what Lord Jesus Christ said to men like this shameful founder of the Watchtower Cult: "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." - Matthew 7:5 And here is the clear scriptural warning to brainwashed Jehovah's Witnesses, following as they do an insane, blasphemous, dangerous, wicked, mind-controlling, soul-destroying cult that is based on the teachings of the amazingly presumptuous HYPOCRITE (as proven above)
Charles Taze Russell: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." - 2 Timothy 4:3-4
The Watchtower Society and the Creed of the Jehovah's Witnesses is a CHEAT, a 100% SCAM, a WICKED TRICK, a FILTHY LIE, a BLASPHEMOUS INSULT, a SCANDAL, a FRAUD, a DISGRACE, an ABOMINATION and a DAMNED OUTRAGE from start to finish. Why argue about it?

The WTS says they have no clergy class except when it comes to invoking laws on reporting child sexual abuse and hiding behind the clergy-penitent confidentiality laws.

A worker is worthy of his wages. The problem with JW's is that they DON'T have a paid clergy.
The apostle Paul didn't ask for money. He bragged about that. He could only brag about that because he was the exception. What's wrong with having professional teachers. You get what you pay for. No paid teachers means hours of boring meetings.
The responsibilities of shepherding the flock are too burdensome to be peformed properly by part-time servants. The best teachers are side lined because they have to earn a living and take care of their families.
There is nothing unscriptural or inherently evil about having paid church workers. And I don't mean $100 per month . How about a living wage. The idea of - you receive free-give free doesn't mean truth is cheap. Think about that last "free ware" you tried to run on your computer.

proplog2- No paid clergy? Look again.
yeah maybe no paid elders( I thought the CO was nothing more than a traveling elder?)... but not no paid clergy(class)?
The "heavies" as the Dubs are fond of saying live quite well for free. As far as meeting parts being of higher quality if they were paid better- you're joking right? It's all SCRIPTED... didn't you ever give a part? Personality is the only thing to "spice" it up... and that can't be "bought".
That's like saying our soldiers don't get paid because they get very little "cash". But everything else is provided!
The CO gets a car, health insurance, steak & lobster (if he's on one of those "special" diets) retirement, tax free cash in the form of "gifts"etc etc.
Yet when I was almost in the streets due to some unforeseen hardship- the WTS or it's "reps" DID NOTHING TO HELP. I almost ended up in the f*ckin streeet. Who helped- the Catholic Church! that I resigned from 20 years ago when I became a Dub! They didn't make me jump through any hoops or make me "come back", they helped no questions asked!
F*ck the Dubs, thier invisible "non_clergy class" and their hypocrisy!
