I've been getting "Cannot find server" on the www.petloss.com. I'm still searching for a good forum but my stupid computer is just to slow tonight. Normally it speed along. I think it might me my connection. We have RoadRunner and I'm not too impressed with it.

I haven't lost any pets (since I was little) but my ferret is sick and my dog is getting older....and I can't imagine how sad you are!!!

My poor husband. He's gonna want to take a vacation away from me. I've been snapping at him all day.
Though, being a good husband and all, he just takes it as I dish it. He EVEN gives me hugs even though I've been nasty to him.

Oh Sweetie, I'm ALWAYS an emotional mess when we lose a pet. There was one that we had for 15 years, a very sweet and cuddly cat. I didn't talk on the phone or leave the house for an entire week, I was just so incredibly sad.
I don't think that there *is* any "cure" for the feelings you're experiencing, except for the passage of time. Allow yourself to grieve, and go ahead and look at the sites mentioned here. They may help you in some way.
Know that this is normal---for caring people. Know too, that my heart hurts *for* you, Hon.
