    Repentant for what???

Reading "spiritual pornography" that was "designed to deceive" Not to mention avoiding the admonishment for eating at the table of demons and disregarding the wise counsel of Jehovahs faithful and discreet slave class. ..

    Brummie!

    "spiritual pornography"

???! What are these people drinking? How in the world did they back this up scripturally? Did they even try or did they give you the old 'do you believe the GB is the FDS' baloney?

    Rubbish!

Yes, that question always pops up and was the very last question I was asked. They dont have scripture to back it up, just watchtower divinely directed policy, which is far more important than scripture.

As for what they are drinking, I'm not too sure, but apparently it comes from the teats of babylon the great ;)

The following spiritual food is recommended reading for ALL Jehovah's Witnesses:

    Crises of Conscience

    In Search of Christian Freedom

    The Gentile Times Reconsidered

Paul's Idea of Community --- The Early House Churches in Their Historical Setting

Where is the "Great Crowd" Serving God

    Apocalypse Delayed

Was There a 1st Century "Governing Body"

**** NOTICE: READING THE ABOVE MATERIAL WILL NOT RESULT IN A JC OR DF'ING OFFENSE BECAUSE YOU WILL EITHER DA YOURSELF OR FADE OUT OF THE HEINOUS, BLASPHEMOUS AND APOSTATE ORGANISATION KNOWN AS THE CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES.

In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God,

    and the Word was God.

He was with God in the beginning.

All things were created through Him,

and apart from Him not one thing was created

    that has been created.

    Life was in Him,

and that life was the light of men.

That light shines in the darkness,

yet the darkness did not overcome it.

It also might depend on the congregation you attend, and what the elders in that hall would do. I was in a hall that in my opinion would absolutely df you for reading it, unless maybe you begged for forgiveness.

The book is considered prime apostate material, and reading it would not go unpunished.

Many elders know who Ray is. An ex-Witness.

So, if they want, they can set up a JC and say you were associating with a DF person, which by itself is basis for being disfellowshipped. And you can avoid it by being "repentant."

But things will never be the same again. They will look at you differently and you will always be under suspicion of apostasy.

    I don't understand...

Why would anyone have to know? Has the WTS so destroyed your ability to autonomous that everything you do is public (or WTS) knowledge?

Please people, keep your private life PRIVATE! Some things are nobody's damn business. Do you run to the elders and tell them if you have an erotic dream or nocturnal emission and then feel guilty? If so, you've got serious issues. Break free from the bOrg!!!

    Cripes!

I know for a fact you can be disfellowshipped for reading this book. I know of people that have been. You could be right it might depend on your body of elders and if you show a repentant attitude but you can and it has happened.
