Yes, I plan on keeping that for the time being. If too many people start too many topics it can end up with nothing actually being discussed because things just scroll off too quickly.

Having some limit can help protect against spammers / flooding and also (maybe) make people think a bit before they start a new topic (thats maybe just wishful thinking !)

Makes sense. Also, when you start a thread, it's only polite to come back to check on it to acknowledge people's comments, etc. I don't start a thread unless I know I will be able to pay good attention to it and the kind people who take the time to participate in it.

Actually believe it or not my life (out of JWD ) is more intense than you might think at the moment ... (it doesn't mean that it is all good) actually JWD works for me like it allows me to not focus too much on what I shouldn't and actually talking about stuff that I wouldn't have talked about if not here ... My accointances/friends are not always available and are not always interesting in talking in things that interest me at the moment I feel like (and vice and versa) or that makes me laugh when I feel like (I miss my son for that Damni't !!!) ... here I can find lots of material and things to think about that motivates me to poste ... but I didn't realised that I posted that much ... do I need shrink or what ???

Yes Minimus seems to have slowed down - trouble is when I started a thread entitled "When will Minimus run out of questions" a moderator locked it very quickly
