Got this out of the dictionary-

Jug: A large, often rounded vessel of earthenware, glass, or metal with a small mouth, a handle, and usually a stopper or cap.

Pitcher: A container for liquids, usually having a handle and a lip or spout for pouring.

Nobody is right. It's a ewer. A pitcher would have the handle looping well above the main body of the item. It's too big for a jug.

    It's a ewer.

    Englishman.

I got it out of the dictionary EM. I'm right, PR is right. Too small for a jug? Tell that to the people on Hee-Haw. They made music out of jugs.

According to dictionary.com, one of the definitions of "jug" is "a small pitcher". So it could be both, depending on it's size.
