The Archie's in 1969 "Sugar Sugar"? For me it was all about being a kid, summertime, ice cream and the A & W drive in for a hot dog & root beer. I hear it on the drive home yesterday and turned it way up. How about anyone else?

Watching my big sister put on her makeup in the mirror - fascinating for a 7-year-old?

Playing in the sun by the Russian River in our backyard?

The Popsicles that always seemed to melt faster than I could eat them in the hot summer sun...

Dunking my 'rotten' little brother in the doughboy pool, then getting called a blockhead by said brat...

    The ?love? of my family?

    Ah, the memories...

`68 & `69 was the transition period of studying with JW`s, and when we stopped celebrating

"worldly events" I had no idea at this time what extreme life changes were on their

way for our lives then. So I guess this in when JW`s took my enjoyment of being a youth

    away.

Oh man....That just reminds me of when I was a kid at the Beach down the Jersey shore in the summertime.

The hot sand and hot boardwalk, the smell of salt water taffy, crunchy hot dogs and crunchy hamburgers (because of the sand). Every radio on the beach tuned into "77.... WABC".

Wow, that was a long time ago...

Ugh, Brutus, you make me feel old! :)

French Beauty: That is the correct song!

It seems most songs get regurgitated to become advertisement jingles. They catch my ears and eyes at first, and then I feel sad that they need 'em to sell cadillacs, ketchup or whatever. (Led Zeppelin's 'Been a long time' comes to mind)
