Seems to be lots of songs about TEXAS. Even us uneducated English wallahs know them.
So.... Is there a song about every State in the Union?
What are they called?
Psst....Quoting Delaware by Perry Como does not count.
Thank you!

As 10 year old kids, we used to sing:
Oh the yellow rose of Texas
And the Man from Laramie
Invited Davy Crockett
To have a cup o' tea
Well, the tea was so delicious
They made another cup
And poor old Davy Crockett
Had to do the washing up.
Heh. Halcyon days!

Deep in the heart of Texas.
(PS: had car trouble and got stranded in between San Angelo and Austin in the middle of nowhere during the night. We pulled off the road and turned off the lights. I saw more stars than I've ever seen with my naked eyes. The song doesn't lie: the stars really are big and bright in the night in the heart of Texas.)
