Becuase, I need all of you.
You anonymous people who type on your computers somewhere in the world.
Only you can understand me.
Only an ex-JW can understand another ex-JW.
Worldly people have a different reference point, a different way of thinking about things.
Worldly people were not usually raised with the warped, "The Society speaks for God, and follow everything the Society says...or else."
Worldly people were not usually raised with the black/white thinking.
So, while many of you...I would not recognize on the street.... you "understand me" more than my closest worldly friends.
How is it...out there, I am a "stranger in a strange land."
In JWN, it's like Cheers.
Cheers Theme Song Lyrics
Title: Where Everbody Knows Your Name
By: Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo
Makin' your way in the world today takes everything you've got.
Takin' a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name,
and they're always glad you came.
You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same,
You wanna be where everybody knows your name.
You wanna go where people know, people are all the same,
You wanna go where everybody knows your name.
