My totems animals, as revealed during meditation, are Red Tail Hawk for clarity and vision, and Cougar for courage and protection. Cougar in the Cherokee tales of the 11 grandmothers was also a messenger, and Red Tail Hawk is considered a messenger by the Lakota.
I have phyically met both!
I carry my messages by living them, by example.

Brummie, I have it on good authority that rodent tastes pretty good. Max especially likes pocket gophers. He's trained Dominic to go catch them for him. Hamsters are rodents arent they? Hmmm
