The concept is pretty straight forward I think, whether you believe it or not. Infinity is infinity, you can't exceed that which does not have limits. In a way though it is a limit, to say that God cannot make something so big that he can't lift it, kind of like the scripture where it says God cannot lie. Of course, why would God care to make a rock like that in the first place or lift it? Where is that a popular question anyway..?

It seems Fredhall deals with empty space quite often. (Let the reader use discernment.) [8>]

    Ahhh, Fred? Again, you err...

He live in a spiritual universe. Which is nowhere near our universe or universes. Plus, he doesn't live in the empty spaces beyond our universe too.

Have you not read and did you not hear that God... 'is actually NOT far off from any one of us'? Did you not hear and have you not read that He is indeed within REACH of EACH of us... that all we need do is 'grope' for Him and we would find Him? Did you not read and have you not heard that 'the kingdom... is in your MIDST... and is IN you and ALL AROUND you?'

Stop trying to mislead these people, Fred. Just because you desire the 'pit' as your destination doesn't mean you have to keep trying to lead these folks there WITH you. You COULD stop at any time... and perhaps receive my Father's mercy. For He DOES show mercy to whomever HE wishes to show it.

'Earthling' man... always trying to 'lean upon [his] own understanding'... and then wondering why he continues to limp in darkness...

A rock that is too big to be lifted would be a black hole.
As somthing gets heavier its gravity increases until it would colapse into itself.Black holes can be moved by bigger ones and so on into infinity.
These conseptual problems such as could God being all powerful do anything he wants are flawed.
This is because not all things that are describable in language are real things or events that can happen. For example if God is all powerful can he make something more powerful than himself. But by definition if God is all powerful there is no such thing as something more powerful. So the paradox is contained in language not reality.
