While I certainly can't take full credit, nearly all of the kids my age that grew up with me in the org are now out in one fashion or another. I know of only 4 or 5 people in that age group that are still in...and that is from 5 or 6 different congregations in the area. Sort of wierd....like an entire generation just left.

I was gleeful of my record of zero on the other thread, but I have to sadly say its zero for this as well. The three immediate family members I've tried to talk with, always get defensive and cut it off.

But I've often shared damaging info to some curious co-workers with many questions.

:D lol I am sorry if I am annoying anyone... :( But I think that's an interesting question too. I think there would be a lot more brought out of the truth that IN, right?

Good question....Never brought anyone in and never got anyone ....YET...

One so far...my niece. I bombarded her with info and pics I printed from this site. (Thanks to hawkaw, Nathan Natas, expat, Randy, leolia (sp), waiting and her daughter.... and soooooooo many others I can't begin to finish naming) She celebrated Christmas for the first time this year, and got up the nerve to tell my mother off. I'm not finished yet.....

ZERO, so far, as I have always believed everyone has a right to chose their own path - and I respect the belief of others (just as I expect/ed MY beliefs to be respected). NOW, however, with what I know, I STILL think people have the right to chose BUT I believe they should be in possession of all the facts so they are able to make that choice.

Well i went from a pioneer to taking out 3 people. lol It wasnt easy as I too was just discovering the truth about the truth at the time and just by my discussions with them they too left. It was intence deprogramming one person, she would start crying and say she didnt want to hear it, but I didnt give up, and eventually she got out. I almost helped a fourth one out but sadly she went back to the cult. She was a close friend but no longer will talk to us and now that shes reinstated shes been embarded by the witness love and she cant seem to see how phoney it is. It kinda hurts that she can abandon a real friend so quickly for a parasitic organization. I showed her alot of info though and she even wanted to watch 2 videos i had "Jehovahs witnesses" the one with ray franz in it and "a witness goes out". So im sure I helped her somewhat, cuz when she first came to me she was so paraniod of being disfellowshiped and armageddon coming. She was also guilt stricken. I think i helped her out with that but her family is all in the org so it probably sucked her back in. Im not pushy or offensive but it kinda erks me that a publishing company tries to wield the power of god over people and messes with their heads. If any wanted help or answers I would definatly help them.

Im also personally hoping that the watchtower corp. and all its investments in canada dry up and it move back south to where it came from. With the zero growth in canada and the lack of publisher enthusiasm who knows. I dont think they will leave anytime soon though, but maybe just maybe. lol I keep hoping.
