Oh man... I miss British food.

I can almost taste the steak and kidney now... and Boddington's....

    (cries inconsolably)

dont you drink your beer warm, and eat your pies cold?

Ya know, I lived in England for the first 18 years of my life and never saw anyone drink warm beer.

As for cold pies... once in a while yep, but mostly they are heated. Nothing wrong with it! :)))

    FMZ:

What about the staple diet - cold pork pies? Delicious! We can get them downunder at some of the gourmet food outlets in the big cities now.

    cheers, Ozzie

    Nope !

Nothing beats a cold pint of Boddies

Roast Beef and yorkshire pudding with veg and gravy - yum

You can keep the kidneys though

    I'm hungry now

ahhhh Yorkshire pud!! Funny thing was, when we were in the UK a couple of years ago we never saw yorkshire pud on the menu. On the way back, in Japan, we did though - funny that!!

Ahhh, yes Ozzie, I stand corrected... I had forgotten all about pork pies, haven't had one in about 5 years!

    Ang:
I can just see you on that Boddington's advert - LOL

Irongland/Jez:Have you actually tasted English food?
It's not so bad (though I prefer Scottish and Italian fare).

Scooby:I'm lazy - More often than not I'd go for a Fray Bentos S&K pie.
I'm far more partial to a Scotch Pie, though (lamb mince).

Ozzie:Yorkshire Pudding. Now THAT'S a contribution to world cuisine!

    FMZ:
I've never had warm beer, either
