Thanks, y'all -- after two years it doesn't hurt as bad, but the loss will always be there. Anyway, I started this thread, not for my dad alone, but for all of us who have lost loved ones: Lyin Eyes (her mother committed suicide), Barb and Joe Anderson (their children shun them completely), Mario (who recently lost his beautiful daughter and is trying hard to keep the Witnesses from absorbing his other child), and scores of others who have lost loved ones through death or shunning. Let's use the thread to think of each of them today.
