Since we're going to be on Big Island, Hilo, june-to july 10, I thought a mini Aposta-hula would be in order. I've been in contact with a few Islanders, and am just developing interest.

Alas, Hawaii is out of the range of my pocket-book, especially during the Summer season.

We have a friend of the family condo we stay at for cost.. $25 per night. May thru Oct. Then the owners spend their winters there.
We are planning to move there in 4-5 years, so this is part of our ongoing expedition.

Hawaii is an incredibly sacred place! 1500+ year history that was discovered by Cook only 250+ years ago. As you are probably aware, Hawaii Island is also where he was killed in an "incident". Ive seen the monument.

No, it's Gaelic for "tiny little godforsaken rock in the middle of nowhere"
So far not huge interest this year, but I may well meet up with Puternut and Cyber-Sista while there. What I'd call a micro-mini-Aposta-Hula!
Since we will be doing more travel to hawaii in the next 3-4 years buying a place, or land and developing it for a home, I'll try to give more advanced warning.
LT... I hope you can make it a point in your future to get to Hawaii.... It truly is Paradise! Like I said, it is a very sacred place. Heck, just being what it is in the middle of the ocean is sacred! There are sacred locations on Hawaii Island I'd love to take you to to get your impressions.... Kevan and I have had some interesting experiences there.
