That said, Nascar is wayyyyy better than F1. One simple reason...PASSING. Mike Schumacher leading from pole to pole is the definition of robtic, and hairpins make great wrecks but crappy competition.
They NEED a salary cap.
What they need is revenue sharing. Just look at the NFL vs. MLB. Every year with MLB it's always the Yankees and usually the same half dozen teams. It's because the bigger markets = more money = better players. With the NFL and revenue sharing, it levels the playing field. It's why a small market team like the dam Packers can compete year after year.
Yeah it really sucks living in football/nascar country when I'm a sad hockey fan.
However, all the pro atheletes suck. I mean when Sprewell can bite his coach and keep a job, other players beat up fans and keep their job, and getting a baseball card signed costs big money.....

Yeah. I think i've used it 4-5 times! I know i've used it in all the superbowl prediction threads.It is my standard response to all pro sports threads. Now you can all look forward to it each time such a thread comes up, like the arrival of spring.
The Hockey rinks will have to re-coup their costs now by extra showings of "Shrek on Ice"
