i remember my bethel tour as a kid everyone was impressed at how clean everything was...ate lunch with the "bethel family" and my parents nearly fainted when one of the GB stopped and talked to me...even put his hand on my shoulder. *thank god thats all he touched, looking back on it* I was a good little dub boy - touched by an annointed GB member....my parents where sure I'd grow up to be an elder then ! I think that is when I started to turn Aposto ! LOL

Seriously, don't you have to be from a certain age group, or have outstanding "connections" or talent? I've read of the odd JW who was actually given a college education for the priveledge of serving "in-house".

jgnat--- It's probly because they needed lawyers . I've seen elswhere on the board that they do send people to law school . I just wonder if that's how they spend that world wide preaching work money . It wouldn't surprise me . They seem to like avoiding the paying of taxes in some countries like france for one. It wouldn't surprise me if they still run to the UN with cases of injustice around the world .

The artwork at Bethel got you intrigued?...well...I will agree its just a snoodge of an improvement above Thomas Kinkade.
