I agree. That legal would do this,, for a specific reason,, one in particular that we are all familiar with. And they may sheepishly ask the GB permission. But aside from that I doubt the GB would assign anyone.
I am aware that TJ *does* receive reports, and is intimately aware of not just 'apostate' issues, but also of the long-term individuals involved in internet 'apostacy'. I suspect that he does have a hand in the assignation of individuals to keep an eye on these sites but have no evidence of this.
I also know that he repudiates computers altogether, does not use one himself and has opposed such techonology for many years. He is losing the battle.

Well they must be looking around with the rash of cease and decist orders placed on various sites and if elders are not following the direction of the WTBTS then what are they doing? If elders have an admonition to "keep the congregation clean" and they use material found here or elsewhere to act against a JW (like Joy & Steve), then they are still doing the Society's bidding. Period.

Those that find these sites and eventually exit are those who often have deep-seated issues regarding the WTS, if they did not they would not be here in the first place.

Many who come to sites like these, stumble on sites like these too. Some do it out of curiosity. Many have doubts.....but what dub doesn't have some doubts about certain things? Face it....your a big dummy and I'm right and your wrong. I'm a damn genius for christ sake!
