Thanks for letting us know how she's doing, Richard.
I hope she's getting Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) for her pain control. It will help her mobility immensely and it helps speed up recovery time considerably. If she doesn't have it, she shouldn't be afraid to ask for it.
