Actually, I just had this conversation with an elder a few weeks ago. People who believe in god, who havent had the chance to hear about the truth, or arent sure, will not die in armegedan. If they do for some reason, they will be resurrected. Its those who refuse to listen and abide by gods teachings of the bible that will die with no chance of being resurrected. There will be people in the new system that are not witnesses. (if you believe in all that)

No, but you can beleive that if they get resurrected, or dont die, someone will surely try to turn them into one. Poor chaps

If the witnesses are right, over 99.99% of beleivers will die at Armageddon, and 100% of unbelievers will die at Armageddon. Not much of a difference in statistics...

You know, this makes Jesus' ransom seem pretty cheap and powerless when you think about it. Then go on to the fact that so many dying makes Satan seem like he's telling the truth about mankind serving god out of selfish motive.

The Bible says that God so loved the WORLD that he gave his only begotten son to save them from death. It doesn't say that he gave him to save a handful of people. I really believe that cramped and narrow road scripture has been tampered with.

This reminds me of a survey that was done a number of years ago on religion. When the pollsters asked if people thought they'd go to hell, they stated, with a very rare exception, that they were not going to hell.

When asked if they knew anyone who was going to hell, they *all* answered "yes."

somehow, I don't think He's nearly as judgemental as human beings are.

    Only 8 survived the flood...

Ya but like I said, I don't necessarily believe everything that the bible says about Him. If mankind was so bad 5,000 years ago and God was gonna destroy them all for their wickedness, why wouldn't He have just opened up the heavens and yelled down "Straighten your sorry asses up, or you're in big trouble!"

I tend to think the flood was probably a natural calamity that was local, not because God decided to destroy the lot of them.

if God is just - and i believe he is - he will make sure everyone has the information to make a right decision - for him or against.

for those that havent had that opportunity, i believe they will get a chance at resurrection - it would be the only fair way from a God who was just.

If god is just, he's going to admit to himself/herself that we were, most of us, put down here, through no choice of our own. We were given crappy genes, lousy parents and circumstances to endure. We have religions thrown at us our whole lives claiming they have the truth. The Christian religion has one of the worst track records when it comes to man's inhumanity to man. And so this Christian god is going to torture or kill people forever for doubting Jesus was sent to save them.

If God/Goddess, hey maybe we have godly parents up there, you never know, anyway, as I was saying: if God/Goddess is just then God/Goddess won't do away with anyone who has good in them or is salvageable. I believe that with all my heart. Otherwise, with gods like that, why do we need enemies?

The only thing I'm sure of, is that being saved can't have anything to do with being part of a particular religion or organisation. That's so obvious in the New Testamant, if you believe in the Bible. Who can say how many JWs will be saved - although the "other gospel..not that there is another" that they preach on doorsteps etc, must make it so much harder. Do those who mean well but spread the wrong message get saved? What do I know, I'm neither a JW nor saved, but I'm searching for truth.
