Just thought some of you might be interested in the music website of a new rock and roll / blues band.

Nothing new there you might think, BUT...ALL the band members are active (?) witnesses, all supposedly "in good standing", and including at least two elders, an MS and a Pio

Strange that these individuals can happily participate with this officially un-theocratic activity, and send a demo cd around pubs and clubs to get bookings, and yet one member in particular can shun his disfellowshipped sister!!

The word hypocrite cames to mind, but one musn't judge must one.

The music might not be to everyones taste, but with the band calling themselves "The Lost Alternative" (previous name was "On The Edge") and track titles such as "Set yourself free", what exactly are they trying to say?? and to whom??

Methinks the times are definately changing because it wasn't so long ago that individuals would be DF'd for such blatent worldliness and toying with Satans moosic!!

I'm not sure whether to cheer them on for effectively shoving 40% of a wave at the Society, or vomit at yet another example of the crass hypocricy and double standards demonstrated by so many "loyal" dubs.

You might like to visit their website http://www.thelostalternative.co.uk/ and see for yourself, maybe even sign the guestbook.

Don't forget to mention your sponsor.....JWD

Well I visited the website and of course there was no mention of them being JW's...which I'm sure they wouldn't if they were. But I signed the guestbook and asked them if they were. Hahahaha. (Is this a joke? )

    Nope

    This is not a joke.

They are all "dyed in the wool" dubs.

    But what about the music?

Mmmmm........have to think about that one.

I think Eman should book them for the next apostofest.

They are for real I recognize some of them from Hayes Bridge (Surrey Assembly Hall)

How can they get away with it.

I searched the website over also, and found no mention of them being Jehovah's Witnesses. However, that is not unusual. I am going to E-mail them and ask them point blank! I do not doubt the information provided, I would like to see it in writing, thats all. If they are JWs then I will do all I can to (help) spero prove it.

I downloaded and listened to the songs. In my opinion they aren't all that great. I have heard a lot of Phillipino Bands that are way way better.

They are alright for parties and stuff like that but I don't think they are good enough to hit it big time.

    Just my opinion

I went back to the guest book and read some of the comments. This is too funny. I think everyone on this site should check

it out and sign the guestbook. If they are JW's...that'll be a hoot...if they're not (but I believe you spero...I really do)!...it will still

be a hoot because they won't know what's going on!! ILOVEIT!!

We might have to wait for them to reply as they should all be at their 2 day CA at Hayes bridge this weekend.

Some might even have items to do. I know I have seen them before!!!!

Course they might even be doing a song or 2 from the platform (or maybe not).
