Billboard Contest Now!

  I have long thought that a billboard campaign might be effective in reaching many JW's, especially those without a computer. Imagine a large donation to JWD with the stipulation that it support a message billboard near every assembly hall and summer convention center. What would you write? I propose that the great minds of this board make billboard messages they they feel are effective. Who knows this might actually happen. What do ya say guys?

  Someone posted that there was a billboard that only read 607 BCE???? and he recognized it was directed toward him, a JW. He automatically researched this issue... and left the dubs.

  These all seem too wordy for a billboard. Except the "young bright dead" one. Billboards need to be short and sweet, the punch needs to come in your head, not from the words themselves.

  "The Bible, or the Watchtower. Pick one. [some website]"

  "Jehovah's Witnesses knock more than doors. [some website]"

  Anybody with all the answers is controlling which questions get asked. (Not a billboard idea, I just like it)

  Not as good or punchy as the ones already mentioned but there ya go. It has got me thinking of an idea though. All the sponsorship boards at football grounds with stuff like Nike ads on them could be replaced in the closed season just before the assembly with these slogans. Just imagine all the dubs walking in looking round and going WHAT THE HELL?!!

  Excellent NWT,

  Everyone is different. What I think is effective may only work on people who think like I do. Personally, I never got energized by the 607 BCE thing. But it did mean something to HONESTY and now he's free. Everyone's input is valuable. BTW nice insight on the arena boards.
