LOL, nobody uses my computer except me, but it is locked down like fort knox, i keep everything behind 128bit Twofish encryption at all times, even when i am working on it, all except my browser files which are neither here nor there because I don't browse anything that could trouble me.

edited to add: meaing that i keep all of my work and important stuff safe, jw shit doesn't figure in the equation.

There's much to be said about Windows XP and the concept of different users. As long as you keep your user as the only administrator, you're safe b/c they can't access the history of your user account from theirs.

No, I don't hide apostate literature, I've got a room full of it!

I hide it, but not to hide it from JWs. I'm hiding it from anyone who might walk by. I do not go around admitting I'm an ex-JW to anyone I know. Never. It would hurt my career to admit I used to belong to a cult.

well, I must say... I do hide apostate litterature when my best friend comes to see me (as she's still a JW, and me, I've never been JW so I can't tell her I read apostate litterature, if I still want to have contatct with her)...

but I must admit that it would be easier not to do so!!!!

I am not open about it - so yes. I use Firefox rather than Internet Explorer to browse JWD thus no history is left in the browser I (and the rest of the family) normally use.

When I was first looking into this whole "leaving the bOrg" thing I did most of my reading on my Palm. But I couldn't post from there, so did use my computer. At that time, I did clear it all out when I logged out. None of that anymore, though. Thank you, Gina, for being the open-minded, thinking-for-yourself woman I married!

This is so funny because we don't hide it. We had my very devout JW mom over and she wanted to go on the bad internet because she don't have it at home.....anyway I actually had my mom reading from the JWD. I said these are some of the friends who have had questions about certain things in the truthif she only knew. She asked me who this Doc Bob was because he was putting signs up all over the place............I said oh I think he used to be an elder , he is just tring to help witness families. So I found his web site and she started to read and thats how it begins......................

Sometimes I hide it from my boyfriend because he thinks I come here to much hehe...

Sometimes, I'll wait till he goes to the bathroom to check my pm's.

Sometimes he looks over my shoulder when I'm typing, but then I just start going on and on about doctrine and he kinda stops being so interested.
