Yeah, this is certainly interesting to me, since my JW dad recently admitted he was a hypocrite, and said that everyone was a hypocrite. It would be interesting to prove that in the Bible as JW's see it, the word he admits to being is in fact the same word JW's say is 'apostate'... I am going to cross reference that with other Bible translations and see if the NWT is the only one using 'apostate.

Apostate: One who renounces his former belief principles, or party, etc.
Job 13:16
KJV: 16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
