Hey, brother Ian, so very nice to see you post.
There is a CD I feel you would really enjoy: Dancing at the Gate, by Dana Cunningham.
I often let it play all day.

Ian, Clare, and Boyz, what a gift you are here at JWD and at home. It's so nice to be lovingly reminded how precious religious freedom and freedom from religion is, no matter who you are or where you live.
You have become special people in my life, expecially with your incredible outlook on life, and your pervasive happiness. Thank you.
Hugs and love

I really loved your account. Makes me think of my own children and the happiness I hope they will enjoy.

Right after I read you good feelings
I just had to write how I feel in the post below you
I feel better everyday, and I am also losing a few pounds, because I feel better about me.

Good for you Ian and family.
Nice to see that recovery from the J.W. has now brought more family time and individual time to you all.
I feel the same way and can't even imagine how cramped time would be if our family of 5 were on the JW running wheel.
Two of our boys are about the same ages as yours. I can envision yours because of that. They are just so full on life and enjoy their friends their sports and their futures. The doors are all open for them to explore, make changes and move on with unconditional love and support from us. I'm sure you probably feel the same.
It's a bit noisy in our household but at this stage of my life and theirs...well, I just wouldn't have it any other way. I say, family life...BRING IT ON!!! I just love it.
hugs

It's a little over a year now (2 years last February) that my family and I left Watchtower and I can't begin to tell you how wonderful life has been!
Thank God for your freedom from the opression and mind control !!!This should be the feature article in the next WT magazine.

Saturday mornings are now taken up with shopping and gardening, or doing other normal things we never had time for under Watchtower.
Ahhhhhhhhh...life is good! This is exactly what hubbie and I do on weekends too. Thanks for the great post about "Life Beyond The Watchtower". (Sort of like being let out of prison).
Big hug...Cathy L.

That is so good to hear Ian, that despite the trials, you see the good in yoor children growing, becoming there own persons, the mutual acceptance of the community around you, and your taking care of what truly is important, your needs, and the needs of your family. I and my wife as well are wishing you the best that life and love have to offer. Godspeed
