Birthdays are a good memory

  When we were Witnesses, this moment would have been denied to us. But now the look on his face is a treasured memory I'll carry into old age.

  Sometimes life is good.

  So true Big Tex. Maybe we didn't get to have the joy of celebrating our birthdays OR our kids...but we still have (I hope) many years left to celebrate such important moments. We recently had a big bash for our 3 yr. old granddaughter and it was the greatest thing EVER!! So many wasted years...but so many more good ones to come.

  Yup..."Sometimes life is good"!!

  It was so fun and so happy and so relaxing to celebrate his birthday at Red Lobster! The people who were looking at us were giving fond, approving glances, and it was just TERRIFIC!!! Yes, I'm glad they're young enough to really get memories of holidays and birthdays and I hope I can remember that excited little face forever.
