Did you hear ORielly say, Micheal Jackson is having a prayer session with Jesse Jackson. Mr. Jackson says he is a Jehovah witness. If they come to my door, I'll let a big dog greet them.

I was unable to quote the precise statement, but it is as close as I remember without recording his statment.

So One more negitive about the Org. hits world wide coverage.

Sounds like a negative statement against JW's to me.... But hey, and JW anti-publicity is fine by me!

Has he been disfellowshipped, or is he just DA'd? or "faded"?

I don't care for the O'Rielly Factor program, but it's always good hearing about the WT getting a little press coverage.

I believe this is what you are refereing to. Straight off the Foxnews website. It was mentioned of O'Reilly's most rediculous items of the day...

The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day

Time now for "Most Ridiculous Item of the Day"...

The Associated Press is reporting that Michael Jackson ( search ) is receiving advice from Jesse Jackson ( search ) on both spiritual and personal issues. Earlier in the case, Jackson was getting advice from the Nation of Islam. Now he's going to Christian route. Jackson says he's a Jehovah's Witness. But, if he comes to my house, I will get a big dog.

Otherwise, there really isn't much to say except ? all together now ? the whole thing is ridiculous.

Rekless, I caught that too. I'm wondering if the Society is going to be forced to make some sort of offical announcement about him.

I didn't hear what O'Reilly said, but I did hear what was said on either Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood last night. Both were on and I wasn't paying attention to them but my ears did pick up when I heard them talking about MJ and Rev Jackson.

They never mentioned JWs specifically, but they did say that MJ wakes up every morning at 4:00 AM to speak to and pray with the Rev, and that the prayers were "non-denominational" (whatever THAT means, LOL). Rev said that MJ is going through a lot of fear and tension in his life and he liked to begin the day in prayer (or words to that effect).

I'm sure the borg hates to be linked with him in any way....other than $. I'm sure this made them cringe! It amazes me that none of the media have linked together the pedophile problem in the borg with Michael Jackson''s case. Michael disassociated himself in the 80s.

Oh yeah, I could see that happening, but only in typical borg fashion:

"Many of the friends are concerned about certain celebrities claiming to be Jehovah's Witnesses, and they are wondering if it is really true. We need to remember that just because somebody claims to be a member of Jehovah's organization does not necessarily mean that they are baptized and in good standing. We shouldn't be quick to believe everything that we may hear. It would be the wise course for Christians to avoid speculating as to who is or is not a Witness. If these matters must be discussed, it would be advisable to do so with the congregation elders."

(meanwhile, the elders will have received a elders-only communication from the Society telling them in no uncertain terms that MJ IS NOT A JW!)

I thought the freaky gloved one was officially DAd? Not that he renounced his faith but that the WTS DAd him based on the policy of being able to kick people out based "on their actions".

So Bill O'Rielly wants to critisize other people. I don't think he has much room to talk.

I'd rather hear George Carlin's or Bill Maher's take on the whole thing.

If only Michael and Bill had connected up by phone for some obscene phone sex, then maybe Michael wouldn't have molested those innocent kids and Fox wouldn't have had harassment charges brought against them.
