  The only thing they have right is sometimes they correctly point out flaws in other religions. (I think these include the divisions they cause in time of war, and also doctrines that seem mythical like hellfire.) But they are not open to admitting their own flaws.

  The one saying they had right, although this dates back to the days of Judge Rutherford, is this:

  RELIGION IS A SNARE AND A RACKET

  And, BTW, that includes their own religion.

  Thanks to everyone who is posting. I'm enjoying reading your views of the Witnesses. I know there is a LOT that is wrong with the teaching of the WTS and I'm not trying to minimize it. Another peeve of mine is thier creating so-called bible principles to suit their own views and gain control more of our lives. It really ticks me off! Making stuff up such as their bogus 'new' understanding of Paul's experiance at 2 Cor. 12: 1-4 is another thing that makes me crazy!

  I believe their acceptance of the Bible as God's word in every way is incorrect. THEN HOW CAN THEY BE RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING ABOVE. WHICH THEY SAY IS BASED ON THEIR ACCEPTANCE OF GODS WORD.

  I personaly don't believe EVERY WORD, cover to cover in the book we call the Bible is out of God's mouth and a message to or a standard for us. Proverbs 31: 6 and 7 is, IMO, a prime example of what I see as strictly HUMAN reasoning, it is NOT Divine instruction nor is it a principle for us to live by...just some human reasoning to be considered and accepted or rejected.

  I beleive the JW got the whole, Bible is inspired of God beleif wrong.

  No way could a egotistical God like Jehovah be a God of LOVE,,The old Jehovah of the OT was one hot head son of a bitch, that killed people mercilessly if they pissed him off, and then in the NT he is called a God of love. Very contridictory and a very funny religion when you think about it: God against man,, god against nature(ie-the Flood),, very funny and very paradoxical. So basically I would say the JW have pretty much everything wrong.

  Flash, sounds like you agree tooooooooo much with that cult? I believe only what I read in the Bible. God and Jesus are not the same. Matthew 24:3-51 was fullfilled upon the early Christains.That was a great tribulation that fell upon Jerusalem and verse 21, Jesus said there would not occur another great tribulation. So I don't believe there will be another one.Ecclesiastes 12:13 says the whole obligation of man is to "Fear God and keep his commandments." and that is what Jesus at Matthew 19:16-19 when someone ask him what he needed to do to get life.All we can do is live our life the best we can and what happens will happen. No one can know the outcome but God so I don't care what an organization says.

  We're not so differant, I also care more about what the Bible says than what any organization says. I am open to consider differant views, then I'll decide for myself what I believe is true and live accordingly.
