What time do meetings start?

Do all JW churches have a set pattern and timing of meetings? What meetings are available for heathens mormons to attend? I feel like I should go to the Theocratic thingy:)

Just planning a quick visit to see how the opposition are doing. I figure I am getting one side of the JW world and I should at least see for myself what its like through the doors. I'm too Mormon to be a JW and too dumb to be anything else.

Most all the halls have a sign in or near the entrance with the meeting times. If I were just going to guess on the Sunday meeting and hope I was right? 0930 is pretty standard

It depends:

Check the sign or call them using www.infospace.com and checking under "Jehovah's Witnesses" or "Kingdom Hall."

One congregation in the Kingdom Hall:

Sunday morning meetings, starting times vary from 9 to 10 am with 9:30 pretty standard followed by the WT study (2 hours)

Congregation Book Study: various locations, at least one at the Kingdom Hall (for DF people who cannot attend meetings in private homes), usually at 7:30 p.m. (though some meet at 7)

Theocratic Ministry School/Service Meeting: Thursday night, 7:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Two congregations:

Sunday: Usually they alternate morning and afternoon (evenings if there is a third congregation) Afternoon ones can start any time between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.

CBS: various locations, though there may be a Monday or Wednesday night book study for the second congregation

TMS/SM: Usually the other one has these meetings on Tuesday night (most congregations do not alternate these as they do on Sunday); if there is a third congregation they usually have these on Wednesday nights (but some may choose Friday though historically JWs hate meetings on Friday nights because it screws up their weekend plans)

Best bet: drive by and if no cars are there, check out the sign on the KH with the meeting times. Otherwise call.
