Towards the end of my experience as a witness, I was troubled by this. It seemed many weren't bothered ar didn't care, even on big issues. It was more a social club. I don't think the elders all believed in the absolute dogma put out by the borg. As long as you made a showing and played the game you were highly approbed.
A good question to ask jws, and an important realization for me.

CYP tried that and my husband does agree that the WT is wrong on something but says that is due to mans errors and the light will always get brighter so we learn our mistakes by them.

I don't know if this makes much sense, but when I was a JW I probably 'believed' everything I was told to believe but didn't necessarily agree with any of it. Shows what a brainwashed dumb ass I was all those years.
Now, i don't believe or agree with ANYTHING that the WTBTS might spout as doctrine simply because all their basic doctrines and beliefs ie. 1914, 1919, 607 bce etc are all nonsense.

The 607 B.C.E. lie proves the WTBTS is one big lie.
