The freedom to have politicians properly answerable to the electorate.

By that, I mean that the politicians can control the media which has to play along in order to secure the all important interviews.

The drawback of a totally capitalistic media.

Having state-sponsored TV that is free of direct state control means that it has no commercial pressures and so can investigate and question with much more freedom. How the US newspapers used to be when investigative journalism was at its best (before they too fell to the control of others).

Keep'em coming. Honesty, thanks for following the numbers its easier to keep track of what freedoms we've lost or been deprived of.

Losing these freedoms makes it easier for politicians to manipulate us.
