Hi Slayer, didn't Geordy do that kind of stuff by reconfiguring his visor.
I'll try reconfiguring my Visa card, that's bound to work. Hang on, I don't have one. Does God take visa anyway?

Hey Zero,
Nice to meet you. Interesting points you make. I don't agree or disagree, but good points.
I'm not a fundy either. Thank God.

Seriously, why is this question important for you?
No one has been able to answer that simple question in a way that reflects God as an intelligent rational “personality”. I seems a little silly to me that he would be hiding some place. Why the charade. If you can’t see the clothes and can’t touch the clothes then the chances are the emperor ain’t wearing any.

"God is love" and love is invisible
Is Love a person. Are you saying God is just an emotion. Ok I’ll rephrase the question a little

Simple Hippi!
God never ate the fruit from the tree of life.

Hey Hip;
I wouldn't refer to myself as a fundalmentalist, but I think the primary reason god is invisible is because maybe he's higher than us. He represents the unseen force in all living things that make up life. Heck, he could very well be that force. Why, he does it that way? Well, I guess you'll just have to ask Him.

Hello Hippikon,
thanks for the question.
Here is my humble answer:
"His - substance - , His being is not of our same
matter, it is another realm, - the invisible one
to all of us in this planet Earth ", or to put into
a nutshell... another chemistry, beyond our -dimension -!Greetings, J.C.MacHislopp

"God, where are you? Why don't you reveal yourself to me?"
The sun was bright that day, blue skies with clouds in the distance. A gentle breeze brushed against the man's cheek and ruffled his hair.
"Where is your love for me, God"
The man's dog licked his hand, wagging it's tail as it gazed at it's master.
"If I only knew you were there for sure I could believe in you. Why are you not visible to me?"
Distant thunder echoed in the distance and the breeze became cooler, bringing relief from the humid day.
"Oh God, please speak to me and tell me what to do."
His Bible rested where it always did, on the coffee table.
It was closed as usual.God walked the earth in the form of a man. He died on the cross that you and I may have eternal life. His offer of grace is free for all who ask with an honest heart.

OK, since you really seem serious about wanting to have an answer to this, I'll try to provide one.
To me, (this is the gospel according to Dana) the #1 reason God makes himself invisible to us is faith. Faith, as you know is the things hoped for but not seen. God his told us that he does want to worship him in faith. To give an example: I've never been to New York City, but I know that that even though I've never seen the Statue of Liberty, I don't have faith that there is one there but I know. I've seen the photgraphs and know people who been there. So I don't need faith that it's there. I do as a believer in God have to have faith in him because there isn't a place I can travel to and see and feel him for myself. If that is the case than why do I believe? (I'm anticipating your next question) I have take the princples written in the Bible and put them to pratice. They over all work. If one does live by these standards, you would have less trouble in this life. If I don't steal, I get to keep my freedom and stay out of trouble. People trust me more. If I don't cheat on my wife, I have a over all better marriage (I think you see the point I'm making here).
As for the spiritual side, I've also put them to pratice and there have been things that have happen to me in my life that can't just be explained by science or natural laws. So I can give God the credit, and I do. But can i give you something you can hold in your own hands that will give you proof. No, that is where faith comes in.
But this may also be only one of the reasons he is invisible.
