Voyager,
I've had a look and couldn't find any direct associative relationship in the style of 'we are part of the UN' but a registered refuge site. Could you help me out here, I've obviously overlooked something. Thanks.

Voyager,

Steve:
Look back up at the top where Randy posted and you'll see the page I was referring to. It got posted in the wrong place.
WHO is the United Nations specialized agency for health!
Steve, sorry about typing the word (need) twice,
I meant to say that you need to go to the (about) page of WHO------see below:

It looks like this has something to do with AIDAFRIQUE.
see this post here,http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/14672/1.ashx
I still don't see any wtbts invovment.
steve
Voyager,
I think you need to need some of the pages
I didn't even see the the typo until you informed me. I do this all all the time.

Steve: Sorry about typing in the word (need) twice in my last post, but if you go to the WHO's (about) page you will find this information listed there.
About WHO
The World Health Organization is the United Nations specialized agency for health. It was established on 7 April 1948. WHO's objective, as set out in its Constitution, is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. Health is defined in WHO's Constitution as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
Thanks!
Voyager,
have you read the link I sent you, here's part of it.
.
I have phoned to Nadine D., the french's volonteer in the Awake of July. I have talked to her an half hour (she didnt't know that i am an "apostate"). I was in his the same Kingdow Hall during the Rwanda's conflict
For Aidafrique, this association was not at the beginning an official's Jehovah's witnesses association. The french's doctor has build it WITHOUT the help of the society. According to Nadine, it was just during the Rwanda's conflict thar Aidafrique has beginning to work with the French's Bethel. The main office of this association was not in the french's Bethel at the beginning. As i can understand, this association was a private initiative of a JW.
Alan F. was part of that link, and probably has a better idea of the involvment. I'll wait until I see him post, and then ask him.
For me it's still a close call on wtbts involvment, as apposed to a group of JDubs helping out. Although if the wtbts are singing praises to this, the that may be another issue.
Very interesting subject, thanks for posting it.
steve
Steve:
Here is an excellent (AidAfrique) investigation and a lot (more)!
*************************************************************************************************************
The AidAfrique Investigation
What is AidAfrique?
Simply put, it is a NGO Humanitarian Aid Relief Organization that was approved by the Governing Body and set up by Jehovah?s Witnesses, to work hand in hand with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Where is the proof that the Governing Body approved this?
Well, here is a quote from the (Yearbook/2000/p- 16) published by the Watchtower Society who admit this themselves. It says quote:
The branch office in Kinshasa is unable to contact these brothers due to the war. However, the (Governing Body has approved) for Belgium to bring relief by air. The first flight is during this week and a second mission will start on February 20. With the second mission a medical team will be sent." The brothers from Europe worked along with 11 officially appointed relief committees made up of Jehovah?s Witnesses in East Congo.
The Watchtower Society does (not) have a cargo plane for such transports for relief efforts, so they must rely on other organizations to deliver these relief materials. The United Nations, the International Red Cross, and United Way are just three of these organizations.
These are (partnerships), the Watchtower Bible And Tract Society has with these worldly organizations of whom the Watchtower claims are of Babylon The Great, the empire of false religions, and organizations associated with the Wild Beast of Revelation!
PART 2
How does it work?
When disaster strikes, Jehovah?s Witnesses go into action by requesting donations of food, clothing, money, water, volunteers or anything thing else that will aid in relief for the victims affected.
Now as far as I am concerned, this is a wonderful effort and a real display of Christian goodwill. It is when the Watchtower Society claims that these (other) organizations are indeed serving Satan while the Watchtower who is a partner with these (other) organizations, feels that it will be the only group to survive Armageddon, when all the time, the Watchtower is involved in (supporting) the same ideals, and purposes that are supposed to bring these (other) organizations destruction! This is (hypocrisy) in its finest hour!
While the Jehovah?s Witnesses provide these donations, and volunteer work, the United Nations takes these goods and transports them to the affected areas in the world where the disaster occurred. The catch of course, is that the United Nations will be able to deliver these materials to (other) people (besides) Jehovah?s Witnesses, which will gain the United Nations admiration and save the United Nations (millions) in costs in trying to muster up such materials on its own from other relief organizations.
So the Watchtower helps the United Nations, and the U.N. helps in delivering the relief materials for the Watchtower. One scratches the other?s back so to speak! The United Nations has even transported Jehovah?s Witnesses themselves on several of these aid relief trips. The International Red Cross has also transported Jehovah?s Witnesses and their relief materials to victims of disaster, along with the United Way Organization. In fact, the Watchtower Society is member number 0531 with the United Way Organization! After being (exposed) as a member of United Ways, the Watchtower removed their name from the website list, but here is where it was listed in the past. Go here, and scroll down the long list of names and you?ll see the Watchtower?s name highlighted in (yellow) on the right side of the page. Go here:
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/60988/2.ashx
PART 3
Why don?t we take a look at what the Watchtower (admits) in their own literature as to their (collaborating) with these Worldly Organizations destined for Destruction and the Whore of Babylon, the UN. Lets see how much the Watchtower depends on these (other) organization?s transportation services as well as favors!
The Awake/1974/Oct/22nd/p-15/ states, quote:
Eventually we set off in a (Red Cross car and van) to pick up the people. We made it there, and hurriedly packed in twenty-six persons. We knew we had no time to spare.
The Watchtower/1989/Oct/1st/p-25/ states, quote:As I had only one Bible,( I wrote to the Red Cross in Geneva, asking them to send me as many Bibles as they could). Time passed, but (eventually I received my first parcel of secondhand Bibles). One day I was told to go to the camp office because a visitor, (a representative of the Red Cross), wished to see me. He turned out to be a Protestant minister. He apparently thought that I was a Protestant also. He was a little disappointed when he learned that I was one of Jehovah?s Witnesses!
The Yearbook/1986/p-239/ states, quote:
Relief supplies were being sent in (from the brothers in the British Isles and Ireland), using facilities of the (International Red Cross) and other voluntary charitable organizations interested in flying in relief for war victims.
The
Yearbook / 1986/p- 240/ states, quote:So the (Society sent Asuquo Akpabio with supplies by Red Cross plane to Calabar). A (similar flight to Port Harcourt was made by Gerald Bogard). Then there was Wendell Jensen, an American; he and Lois his wife had come to Nigeria from Gilead in 1966.
The Yearbook/1986/p- 240/ states, quote:
G
ö sta Andersson, (a newly arrived missionary, took more needed supplies on a Red Cross flight) to Enugu. After hours of walking to locate (the brothers), and with jittery, armed soldiers all around, he got the supplies delivered.PART 4
Then we have the United Nations transporting materials and flying Jehovah?s Witnesses to different locations.
The Watchtower/1994/Jan/1st/p-6/ states, quote:
A missionary writes: "Concerning (our brothers) who found themselves in refugee camps in Tete Province, an interesting observation was made by a representative of UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.) He said that Jehovah?s Witnesses had organized their own camps, separate from other groups. ?Their camp,? he said, ?was the only one that was properly run,? adding, ?Jehovah?s Witnesses are clean, organized, and educated.?
He then offered (to take me by plane across the bush to see for myself). From the air, the pilot pointed out two camps. One was shabby and dirty, with mud houses built on top of one another without any planning. The other was well laid out, with houses separated into rows by roads. The houses had a neat appearance, with swept courtyards. Some were even painted with homemade paint. ?Guess which one belongs to you people?? the pilot said. It was a great joy for me to meet the brothers in this camp. There are now eight congregations in this Witness village."
The Awake/2001/July/22nd/p-9/ states, quote:
. One UNHCR official in the Democratic Republic of Congo was so pleased with the orderliness of the relief efforts carried out by the Witnesses that (she put her vehicle at the disposal of the volunteers).
The Watchtower/2003/Feb/15th/p- 11/ states, quote:
In another camp, 12,382 refugees were each given three articles of clothing, and another camp received thousands of schoolbooks to be used in secondary and primary schools and in day-care centers. The logistics officer of the UNHCR in one of the regions commented: "We are very grateful for (the donation received [meeting] the great needs of the population in the refugee camps). The most recent consignment received was (that of 5 containers of books, which our community services have distributed amongst the refugee population). . . . Thank you very much."
PART 5
There is a (brochure), that was published by the Watchtower Society about their humanitarian relief efforts that thousands of Jehovah?s Witnesses do (not) even know exists! The (brochure) is called: (Mission To Africa), and here is what the Yearbook/1998/p-45/ states about this brochure, quote:
The France
branch was assisted (in the preparation of a brochure containing details about this activity). The (brochure was distributed to government officials and members of the news media), acquainting them with examples of what Jehovah?s Witnesses were doing in a positive and practical way to provide assistance to people in need. A number of officials expressed sincere appreciation for this information. If we take a look at this (brochure), we can find where the Watchtower Society admit themselves that they used the United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees (airplanes) who (flew in relief supplies), for Jehovah?s Witnesses and others in Africa.
Here is what the (brochure) looks like, and if you scroll down to the next to the last (little zoom picture), you will see this paragraph stated in the Watchtower brochure, quote:
Our activity was often hindered by difficulties particular to the region. Distances are vast and lines of communication almost nonexistent. The best form of travel, if not the only one, is the airplane. Often we used the H.C.R.'s (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) planes.
Please note that the Watchtower says, that this was done (often)! Go here to see the brochure and scroll down to the next to the last (small) picture of brochure pages:

PART 6
Are Jehovah?s Witnesses considered as a NGO in this Disaster Relief?
Yes they are. The website listed below makes this statement, quote:
The French Branch Office of Jehovah's Witnesses operates a (non-governmental organization) known as AidAfrique, which provides material help to Witnesses in Africa after disasters. During the war in the former Yugoslavia, Witnesses from Austria and the Federal Republic of Germany provided material assistance to fellow believers in
Sarajevo
, as well as other localities, some risking their lives to drive the aid truck through the war zone. Until not long ago, the Swedish branch specifically provided assistance to Congo-Kinshasa. Witness literature occasionally publishes reports on the progress of such efforts. Please go here and when you get to the page, look to the left side and click on (Disaster Relief #11), and you?ll see that Jehovah?s Witnesses in France operate a as a Non-Governmental-Organization or NGO). PART 7
Are there any Watchtower Letters on AidAfrique?
Yes there are. We found some WT letters on this subject, and were able to have them translated from French into English. Here is one of them:

Where is the Main Page for AidAfrique?
You can find the main page for AidAfrique listed here:
CUT AND PASTE INTO BROWSER: PLEASE BE PATIENT:
This page shows how the (Worldly) Governments and Ministry For Health appreciates AidAfrique. In-other-words, this shows how friendly the Watchtower has become with what it refers to as (Satan?s) old system. However, when the Watchtower found out it was listed, they feared the exposing information and had the main letter removed.

PART 8
Are there any newspaper articles on AidAfrique?
Yes there are. Here is one from the (Daily News Tanzania).

PART 9
As stated before also, the Watchtower Society is a member with the International United Ways Organization. The thread below contains the United Ways Audit Report 2003, and contains a list of all the member organizations associated with United Ways. Page numbers are located at the bottom of each page in the center.

PART 10
Have any Jehovah?s Witnesses lost their lives because of the Watchtower?s relationship to the United Nations?
Yes they have!
Missionaries of Jehovah?s Witnesses were (assigned) to entertain British National Government Officials on their (vacations) traveling back and forth from the Lusaka Jehovah?s Witness Branch Church (Kingdom Halls), and died in a plane crash in Zambia.
This was a matter of public record as stated on (Watchtower Observer), which stated:
" So, the WTS partnered with the UN, who makes it their job to try to fix these problems, so that the WTS could publish the UN's data and say 'this will only be solved by Jehovah's execution of all non-JW's.' If that is true, it is deplorable enough.
As it happens, it is not true. The WTS published a brochure in France which highlighted their work alongside the UN in Africa, pointing this out to try to add to their credibility. (((When an airplane crashed in Africa, owned by the UN and carrying JW missionaries, it was a matter of public record with the United States FAA))). This was way more than a library card."
In order to show off to these worldly organizations and their political representatives, Jehovah?s Witness missionaries lost their lives. The official news reports of this airplane accident can be found here:

Please do not forget to read (MISSION TO RWANDA) listed here: It exposes the Watchtower Society and JW activities with Armies and Government U.N. Officials!

PART 11
Now ask yourself one simple question. Was (ANY) library card whether it was a U.N. library card or not, really worth the lives of these Jehovah?s Witnesses, or the others who lost their lives?
Whose instructions were these missionaries carrying out? Were they not under the direct instructions of the Watchtower Society, who holds the control of where their ministers are or are not sent? And why would missionaries of the Watchtower Society be (vacationing) with those of whom their (Mother) organization claims are (Satan?s) worldly political representatives? Who was (paying) for such a (vacationing) spree? Do you really think that Missionaries of the Watchtower Society have the kind of money that British Nationals spend on first class rooms that they are accustomed to? Why can Watchtower Missionaries associate with the same people that other Jehovah?s Witnesses are told to shun, or are disfellowshiped for associating with?
Whatever your answers are to those questions, the end result still cost the lives of several people, that the Watchtower did not want the news of such an event to be brought to the surface!
PART 12
However, the exposing information on the Watchtower?s relationships with (Worldly Political) Organizations does (NOT) end there! There are also (other) Political Organizations that the Watchtower Society are also a member with.
Another Political Organization that the Watchtower is a member with, is the (Armenian National Committee of America). Better known as A.N.C.A. The ANCA organization is one of the (largest) grass-root political organizations in the world.
To find Jehovah?s Witnesses listed with the Armenian National Committee of America, go here and scroll down about ½ the way down, it will look like the short list below, but here is the thread: http://www.anca.org/action_alerts/actionalerts.php?aaid=16

And by the way, the Watchtower Society are also listed as a non governmental organization or (NGO), on this page, again I will show an example listed below, but here is the page: http://www.vilniusforum.lt/participants/international.htm
Here is what it looks like on the thread page listed above:
Watch Tower SocietyMr. James N. Pellechia - Associate Editor, Watch Tower Publications and Director of Public Affairs Office
So friends, I truly believe that this provides more than enough evidence, that the Watchtower certainly wanted, and got, more than just a U.N. Library card. The Watchtower gave human sacrifices to the U.N. in the lives of their own missionaries who died associating with the world.
The Watchtower is guilty of apostasy, lies, deception, murder, fraud, and a host of sins that would mount to the heaves, and yet feel qualified to judge and prosecute others for lesser sins.
Surely Almighty God himself will take extra pleasure in giving to the Watchtower, what it has got coming, and I will let you be the judge as to what that might be with-in your own heart and minds!
Original investigation consists of over 300 pages reduced here into one post.

I think this topic demonstrates why the Witnesses' involvement with the UN was no big deal in the first place. Witnesses have always used worldly organisations to their advantage while pouring scorn upon them in their internal literature.
The only reason this was highlighted recently is because apostates have learned how to scream louder using the internetwork.

I think this topic demonstrates why the Witnesses' involvement with the UN was no big deal in the first place. Witnesses have always used worldly organisations to their advantage while pouring scorn upon them in their internal literature.
WTS has always been hypocritical.
The only reason this was highlighted recently is because apostates have learned how to scream louder using the internetwork.
Their hypocrisy has been exposed recently more than ever thanks to the Internet.
How come you're right on both accounts?
Cheers,
