Do we really think these girls are active rightous witnesses??

I don't think it will show them going to meetings, out in service, or anything remotely like that.

Yeah, I saw that last week! It's nice to know that even though Serena is a total poser as a JW, she's not a complete asshole when it comes to helping people. That kid was funny. I'm not a child abuser, but I would be tempted to whup his bad little ass for putting a baby in danger.

Serena and Venus Williams will be starring in their version of a tennis reality show.

The sisters' off-court lives - their family, friends and the glamour of big-time tennis - will be featured in a six-episode show that is still untitled but set to premiere on ABC Family in July.

"The series will provide our fans with an up-close, inside look at our lives away from the tennis courts," Venus Williams said.

The sisters have won 11 major single titles between them and are competing at the Nasdaq-100 Open in Key Biscayne, Fla. Serena is ranked No. 4 in the world and Venus No. 9.

Serena Williams said she and her sister welcome the chance to "branch out into a new medium."

Embracing their status as role models, the sisters have also written a book with advice for pre-teens on such subjects as money and dating.

Regarding the latter, their recommendation: Don't rush a crush.

"We both really have a lot to say about that," Venus said Wednesday with a laugh.

Titled "Venus and Serena: Serving From the Hip: 10 rules for Living, Loving and Winning," the book is targeted for 9-to-12 year olds.

"It's a great book for teenage girls who deal with different issues," Serena said. "Growing up, I would have loved to have had such a positive role model to look up to and try to be like and try to emulate. We love having that opportunity to say, 'Look, you can be like us, you can be successful and at the same time have high morals and high self esteem and be a very nice person at the end of the day."'

The sisters wrote the book with Hilary Beard.

"It's like we're having a conversation back and forth," Serena said. "We wrote it with someone, but we wrote it."

Interesting. Doesn't sound much like 'real' JWs, does it?

Maybe the WT is the executive producers under one of their tax needed aliases - and a six week long subtle infomercial is on its way!

penance for all the spot...light. Will the special glasses be found in your next box of sugar crisp?

they know inactives will probably tune in - they will understand the subliminal hints.

Shouldn't they be pushing the "Youth" book?

Hopefully something Tennis-related. That's what they're really good at.

I've watched the media trying to paint them as beautiful women, in ads and magazines, but I tell you all... Those two are butt-ugly!!!
