How about building properties with free labor and selling them at market value? Is there any money to be made in that?
Not much if the potential buyers get a clear understanding of how it was built. And even less if half the work needs to be done over because it won't pass the occupancy inspection. Like I said, I've been in investment real estate for twenty-five years or so. These buildings don't look like money makers to me, at least not in the short term, without an income stream from somewhere.
