I am looking to perhaps find people who I grew up with in the Sechelt congregation in British Columbia during the 70's and 80's. My mum's name was Eleanor and if you went to this congregation during this time you would know me.:) We were there from 72 to 84. I'd love to get in touch again.

My, your a long way from home. I passed through sechelt in about 1970. Didn't take in any meetings, though.

I've been to Seashelt lots.. I absolutely LOVE it out there. I don't know any witnesses from there though that I recall.

i might have known a few from there, we (x and kids) would travel thru there to texada and also knew some from there who would visit whalley cong in surrey? does that ring a bell for you?

I knew the MacBeths that were there for many years 1960 to 1980. I even went to their hall a few times when I stayed with them.
Actually, they were in Gibsons... that is probably a different hall.

I knew the MacBeth's really well, they were in the Sechelt cong for years well before there ever was a seperate congregation for Gibsons. I remember their kids clear as day...nice people.

I was part of the sechelt congregation only in the early 90's though and only for a year....most of my years as a witness were with the gibsons congregation. I do remember mark and rachel though....my mother was their neighbour and good friend....until she DA'd herself and then there was no contact at all....(made for awkward moments when most of your neighbours were witnesses). I do know Rachel's mother died some time ago..real nice lady. Their last name is Roloue (sp?)....pronounced (Ro-low) Anybody know of anyone from gibsons congregation? I moved from there to ontario in 1999 right before I DA'd myself and of course lost all my so-called "friends". Still miss the place though. :(

i lived in roberts creek , british columbia and was neighbor and best friends with the rouleaus....until i D.A'd in march of 2001... i knew them well and thier kids...i lived in area for another year then moved to ontario...so much for agape love...!!..dont know how the jw's can claim they have agape love when they put conditions on it ...lol...anyway i attended the gibsons, roberts creek and sechelt halls from 91 to 2001...and now live happily in pensacola florida
I knew the Graham family from Gibsons, snowcanuck. I think the father of the family was an 'unbeliever'. I was really good friends with his son Farley before I DA'ed.
