  I decided that just because they want to forget about me...

  Unless your parents are from another planet, there's no way that the above quote can be true. One thing that's probably true about them, is the discomfort (before the other braindead members of the congo) you have caused them in decideing what's right for YOU.

  They are under the WTBS hoax, that just because they've brought you into the world & KH, studied, blah blah blah, that you will automatically want that reglious garbage.

  IMO you need to hold your head up proudly & stick to your guns. I just know they'll come around.No mother, or father, should ever want to forget their precious daughter. Shame on them if that is the case, and even more shame on that barbaric cult, a.k.a. Jehovah's Witnesses and anyone even slightly associated with them. Man that organization sucks!

  Dismembered I didn't mean they want out of their own choice to forget about me but I do think that they have written me off - I am as one who is dead to them. They have managed pretty well for nearly 15 years to not have anything to do with me whilst disfellowshipped. Last time I spoke to my mum or sisters was 7 years ago. I don;t think anything will change their mind ever, but I'm not going to let that get in the way of me being warm and friendly to them.

  Do you know I agreed - no I offered not to attend my grandmothers funeral so that I wouldnt embarass them? I also texted to warn I would be in my home town 7 months ago so that they would not have to pass me in the street and feel embarrassed. Well no way am I doing that again. Next time I go back home I might just make a point of walking past the hall at chucking out time - one because well I'd like to know what they look like now and two so they can see me and remember that I am not a corpse. I am in fact alive, well and postively blooming! I radiate at the moment - everyone says so!

  It just absolutely infuriates me the way parents can be so ignorant. They've been trained to think that you'd be home, stuck in the "fetal position" with nothing else to think about. The only ones they are hurting are themselves. Good for you. Keep on shining! There will be hell to pay for them in the future, when the reality of being duped by the WTBS becomes a reality. And perhaps they finally ask, just where is this promised presence of his anyway?

  Crumpet,

  I'm so proud of you! I have to smile when I think of your family, reading about Jesus Christ, yet not seeing a daughter who can display His Spirit, so much more than they or anyone in their religion ever can. It must confuse them to hell, if they lapse into a moment of thought for just a few seconds, LOL.

  whatever happened to Crumpet ? I always remember her as one of the very first posters I interacted with when I joined here, I wonder if the issues with her family have improved?
