Can anyone direct me or provide the information of how many JW's actually were sent to and died in the Nazi concentration camps.
I believe that the JW's claimed so many numbers, but the actual figures were lower.

Imho People who dig around trying to minimalize Death figures in Nazi Germany are no differant to Holocaust deniers.If you replaced the word JW,s with Jews would you still dare to ask the Question?
Jehovahs Witnesses suffered badly under Hitler through a courageous stand.Im no fan of the Religion but credit where its due.

Who said I was trying to minimilise the figures. All I asked for was information.
Because I get JW's telling me that anything up to 10,000 of them died in the camps, then I read less than a 1,000 did.
So if you don't mind I would like some truthful information about the numbers.
I would still ask the same question if it was about the Jews, but because I have Jewish relatives I have no need to.

The society has a VHS tape that is very interesting.... I believe the JW's wore a purple arm band???

Hi, the best academic study so far (I haven't read Penton's latest work) is by Christine King called 'The Nazi State & thh New Religions'. During WW2, JWs were banned and, of the 20,000 JWs in Germany in 1933, approximately 10,000 were interned & 5,000 died, including over 200 of whom were shot or beheaded because of their neutral stand.
