Is It Right To Tip Your Hat To A Lady?

I won't debate if it is right or wrong but there is an elderly gentleman in my neighborhood who tips his hat to me when he sees me and I am all smiles when he does it!!! (Whether I deserve it or not - it feels wonderful!)

Of course, this used to happen more years ago when there were more of these gentlemen around. There were more "ladies" around too! Pity they have all passed away!

    Well, I don't wear a hat, so no. I wouldn't anyways. I wouldn't give up a seat for a 'lady' either.

Mind you, I live in a militant feminist, PC thug city where such things are frowned down upon just like the WT does.

The WTS has way too much time on their hands if they can only think of this petty issue to blast....surely they would have more important issues to resolve.

The sad thing about this is that it is about control purely and simply; if you asked a JW about whether it was right to tip your hat they would say it was wrong but would not be able to recall exactly why it is...

The questions from the readers article suggest they are not keen advocates of equal opportunities are they?

Yup! Me too. We're off to Longleat Centre Parcs this weekend. First though, we have a visit from the awsome Julie Feuhrbacher....knowing how she'll match me pint for pint, I'm going to need the break!

Man they have a rule about everything.

I love having the car door opened for me, and a hand offered to help me out. I like those kind of gentlemen. Or maybe I just look funny when I get out of the car by myself.
